About Me
I am Marie-Louise Resweber from St. Martinville, Louisiana. I am an alum of Holy Cross College at Notre Dame, Indiana. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about how people interact with others, so becoming a communications major was an easy decision for me. I feel Holy Cross College excelled in preparing me for life after college through the experiential programs that are offered. These experiences have allowed me to discern my vocation and cultivate my mind while receiving a holistic liberal arts education.
I learned about Holy Cross College when I took part in a summer camp in South Bend before my junior year of high school. I returned to South Bend during my senior year and felt like I could find my home at Holy Cross. I was also given the opportunity to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level.
Holy Cross has allowed me the opportunity to do service in the South Bend community and abroad, as well as work in a professional internship. Holy Cross has given me the opportunity to develop my skills as a leader through my roles as a member of the executive board of the Student Government Association and captain of the women's varsity soccer team.
The theme of my eFolio is the Serenity Prayer by Reinhold Neimur. I have prayed this prayer throughout my four years at Holy Cross to get me through many different situations. This prayer has helped me to mature and grow into the strong young woman that I have become. Holy Cross has helped me to gain the serenity, courage, and wisdom that the prayer calls for to get me through the challenges I have met while in college.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my eFolio. Please click through the links in the left column to learn more about me and my time at Holy Cross College.
